The active ingredient in Viraguard® is 70% Isopropanol, recognized for its low toxicity and efficacy as a disinfectant for hard, non-porous surfaces, when combined with an emollient additive in our patented formula. The active
ingredient, also known as Isopropyl Alcohol, is similarly recognized for its safety and efficacy as an antiseptic skin cleanser. The emollient retards evaporation, considerably increasing the effective time for the alcohol to work on the surface, preserves moisture, and helps prevent drying of the skin.
